Studio Tassin

Designed by Studio Tassin, the interiors of Taransay are a pronounced continuity of lines and elements. The interiors are characterized by furniture in boiserie and coffered ceilings, with two levels of beams. Each element becomes harmonic and part of the environmental ensemble.

The wood essences chosen for the yacht are mahogany and ash, with a special finishing applied by brush to obtain a perfect stylistic result.

The guest cabins are classic, everything is in very light ash wood to add brightness and an enhanced sense of size.
The ceilings are cambered, with a web of beams on two levels (longitudinal and transversal) and a series of frames running all around the cabin’s perimeter.
The Taransay can actually flaunt some particular details, unique in the world, planned and designed ad hoc in order to make it a perfect ship, with its classic style from the early twentieth century.
Among them are the teak coatings of the wheel house and the crew’s descent hatch. Another is the funnel, an important feature of the yacht’s outline. On the Taransay, as well as ventilating the engine room, it contains a small pantry to serve the external area of the upper deck. The real novelty is the crane for launching the tenders. Studied, engineered and made entirely in the workshop, it is hidden by the funnel’s stern fairing, thus not interfering heavily, as would other types of modern crane, with the style of the ship.
The crane can handle a large over five metre tender, while the davits remain but they’re now deployed to house the stereo speakers on deck and lights to brighten up the upper deck and to hold up a large awning covering part of the deck when opened.
To host more than 12 guests on a daily outing all the supports which hold the tenders and seats are removable to free up an area on the upper deck of nearly 90 square metres.
All complements and external details builts in-house are in Nibral, an aluminium bronze alloy with high mechanical characteristics, that contributes to maintain a Classic atmosphere.
Considerable attention was also given to on-board entertainment, with an extremely easy to use audio-video system with global control. The Kaleidescape System for on-demand entertainment, Lutron for managing the domotics and the Apple system with integrated AirPlay for complete audio control. In addition to 7 crew members, the motor yacht sleeps 12 guests.
