YEAR 2011

Delivered in the summer of 2011, Numptia is an imposing 70 metre vessel with a steel displacement hull and superstructure in light aluminium.

The twin Caterpillar 3516B engines with 2,525 horsepower each allow the Numptia to reach a cruising speed of 16 knots with an impressive top speed of 18.6. An attentive analysis of the weight and a meticulous calculation of the distribution and capacity of the tanks, together with an impressive four stabilizing fins, have allowed Rossinavi to create a yacht with a stable hull guaranteeing maximum comfort to the guests and crew in the harbour and during navigation. One interesting fact is that during performance testing, vibrations proved to be virtually nil.

The exterior of Numptia, designed by Design Studio Spadolini, is characterized by numerous curved and continuous lines. The blue hull gently slopes down towards the stern on top of which the tiers of the superstructure elegantly lie, reminiscent of the fluid lines and flowing water of the Trevi Fountain.

The interior layout perfectly separates the paths of the guests and crew and the spaces are distributed to ensure maximum functionality. The use of only whitewashed teak for the walls, ceiling linings and floors, shaped into sinuously curved lines, helped to create a luxurious atmosphere that is relaxing at the same time. Each furnishing element is completely custom made, starting from the unique oriental carpets, hand-woven especially for Numptia, up to the outside tables and chairs designed by the architect and custom-built by the shipyard. When speaking of Numptia it’s impossible not to mention the Spa-deck, a large

bridge intelligently equipped with a gym, sauna, Turkish bath, massage room, hair salon and a generous outdoor space at the bow where a sizeable bar complete with barbecue offers two comfortable round tables. Upstairs, on the fly bridge deck in addition to the charming custom built swimming pool, there’s the “Touch & Go” helicopter landing pad. In addition to 19 members of the crew, including the captain, this 70 metre vessel offers accommodations for 12 guests.
